Private Stanley "Fish" Mellish's (Adam Goldberg) helmet from Steven Spielberg's Saving Private Ryan. Private Fish wore his helmet when he joined Captain John H. Miller's (Tom Hanks) squad in their mission to rescue Private James Francis Ryan (Matt Damon).

Originating from military supply company At The Front post-production, this lot consists of a helmet featuring a fiberglass exterior and separate liner with a leatherette and brass chinstrap. Fiberglass helmets like this were created for wearer's comfort as genuine steel M1 helmets were too heavy to wear longterm. The rear is painted with a numeral "2" inside an orange diamond, emblems of the 2nd Ranger Battalion, and the helmet is covered in a scrim net with tears on the side. The interior of the fiberglass helmet is labeled "Mellish." This lot exhibits chipped paint on the exterior helmet exposing the fiberglass layer.
