A collection of hand props used in the production of Ron Howard’s 2013 sports-drama, Rush. Based on a true story, the film follows racing icons Niki Lauda (Daniel Brühl) and James Hunt (Chris Hemsworth) during their infamous 1976 Formula One season. As their rivalry on and off the track begins to take its toll, a near-fatal injury leaves Lauda fighting for the championship and Hunt in pole position to take the title.

The cloth and broken fan belt were used on the car of Niki Lauda’s future-wife Marlene (Alexandra Maria Lara) by Lauda after they suffer engine trouble in Italy, and the rosary beads were hung in the car of the enthusiastic Formula One fans that offer the stranded pair a ride. The collection of items comprises of a brown cloth, a broken fan belt and two sets of pewter-style rosary. The fan belt is made from black leather and a rubberised material, and the cloth is light brown cotton. Both the fan belt and cloth have been deliberately distressed for use in the production, and the rosary remains in excellent production-used condition.

This prop is an original asset used in the production of the 2013 film RUSH. The asset is made available through a partnership between Prop Store and Exclusive Media. This is not a replica, but rather an original piece from the making of the film.
