A copy of Sporting Press Magazine featuring Richie Tenenbaum’s (Luke Wilson) Meltdown from Wes Anderson’s 2001 comedy, The Royal Tenenbaums. The film follows the dysfunctional, estranged family, the Tenenbaums, as their separate lives collide for the first time sense childhood. The magazine features a photo Wilson’s character’s much discussed meltdown at the tennis semis.
This piece features a custom made front cover around a copy of Sports Illustrated Magazine. The headline for the cover reads “Meltdown” with a short summation of the embarrassing event. The magazine measures roughly 10”x8” (25cm x 20cm) and is in great condition.
