A copy of Eli Cash’s (Owen Wilson) book Old Custer from Wes Anderson’s 2001 comedy, The Royal Tenenbaums. The film follows the dysfunctional, estranged family, the Tenenbaums, as their separate lives collide for the first time sense childhood. As seen and discussed in the film, the book presents a false history where the famous General escapes death at Little Big Horn.
This book features a custom made dust jacket around a copy Nino Mannelli’s And They Ask Me Why I Drink. The jacket features an image of the battle of Little Big Horn with a fake summary and reviewer’s quote on the back cover. The piece is in great condition.
