An alien pod from the production of the sci-fi television series Roswell.
Alien pods were placed in the pod chamber and were in there for around forty years before they hatched. They appear in many episodes from the first two series. Made from a transparent plastic, this pod consists of two separate parts which have been attached together, forming an egg shape.

The alien pod has been intentionally distressed with shades of pale brown paint all over and pieces of material are applied to replicate skin. A large hole features in the top section, exposing the inside, and creating the look of the skin being peeled away. This alien pod displays many signs of production use and remains in overall good condition.
