A large lithograph poster of the Rolling Stones' infamous tongue and lips logo featuring an original hand-drawn version of the artwork, inscription and autograph by its original creator, John Pasche. In 1970, Mick Jagger approached Pasche, an art student in his final year at the Royal College of Art in London, to produce a poster and logo for the band. Jagger suggested the tongue of the Hindu goddess Kali, which Pasche used as inspiration for the final iconic design, which has since become arguably one of the most famous logos in music history. The smaller logo has been drawn in red-and-black ink and is signed by Pasche, who has also written "I created & designed the Rolling Stones' logo in 1970". Dimensions: 63.5 cm x 45.75 cm (25" x 18")
