Elton John's (Taron Egerton) prototype "I'm Still Standing" lyrics from Dexter Fletcher’s 2019 biographical musical Rocketman, based on the life and career of the musician. After Elton was handed the lyrics at a rehab centre by his friend and writer Bernie Taupin (Jamie Bell), he began composing the music at a piano. This scene transitions into the film’s final sequence of Elton performing a recreation of the "I'm Still Standing" music video.

The lot consists of two printed pages of yellow note paper. The lyrics are written in black with a few words crossed out to reflect Taupin’s stream-of-consciousness composition. This prototype version is slightly different to the one that appeared in the film.

The lot is in excellent condition.
