Hand-drawn storyboard pages from Irvin Kershner’s futuristic sci-fi film Robocop 2. Phil Tippett is credited as an Associate Producer and for animation sequences on this title.

These twenty-nine pages feature hand-drawn storyboard sequences illustrated in both ink and graphite. The sequences outlined in the set consist of Robocop (Peter Weller) and Cain’s battle, the warehouse massacre, and several design sketches of a female robot are also included. Many of the panels are drawn and adhered to large sheets with various notes hand written along the sides of the images. The cyborg villain Cain was referred to as ‘Kong’ during this phase of production which is noted on some of the storyboards.

The pages show discoloration due to age and portions are crinkled and slightly bent. One of the pages has a large coffee stain near one of the edges but the lot remains in good condition. Dimensions (largest): 24” x 22” (61 cm x 56 cm); dimensions (smallest): 11” x 8 ½” (28 cm x 22 cm)
