Hand-drawn and printed helicopter concept art from Irvin Kershner’s futuristic sci-fi film Robocop 2. In a scene that was eventually altered, the drug lord Cain was mortally wounded during a fight with Robocop (Peter Weller) in which he would man an attack helicopter. Tippett is credited as an Associate Producer and for animation sequences on this title. The concepts were designed by Craig Davies, credited in the film as the ‘effects art director: robot monster crew.’

The lot includes several hand-drawn schematics of an attack helicopter at various angles along with multiple printed pages. The prints show a variety of angles of the craft and have an assortment of notes explaining traits and functionality regarding the subject. The hand-drawn pieces are drawn in both graphite and ink and are accented with grey and other colored markers.

The pages show minor creases and bends due to age and production use but the lot remains in overall good condition. Dimensions (each): 11” x 8 ½” (28 cm x 22 cm)
