Robin Hood's (Kevin Costner) screen-matched tunic from Kevin Reynolds' action-adventure Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. Robin wore his costume throughout the film as he and his fellow outlaws as they fought the corrupt and villainous Sheriff of Nottingham (Alan Rickman). Imperfection on the metal studs and thread placements match this tunic to the one seen on screen as Robin rallies the outlaws to fight back against the sheriff's tyrannical rule.

Custom-made for production, the tunic has a light purple linen body with a square neckline, a leather tie closure at the front, and separated sleeves attached to the body by leather cords. The sleeves are made from beige corduroy and feature leather detailing, fabric panels, and metal studs. An "Angels costumers" label is sewn to the interior with a handwritten note that reads "Robin O' Robe SEPT 90." The tunic exhibits intentional distressing and fraying to appear aged and well-worn and some of the studs have fallen off from production use.
