King Richard's (Sean Connery) screen-matched tunic with chainmail costume from Kevin Reynolds' Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. The tunic in this costume screen-matches to when King Richard gave Marian Dubois (Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio) away at her wedding to Robin of Locksley (Kevin Costner).

This red and gold cotton blend tunic is embroidered on front with lion symbols and studded with faux gemstones along the shoulders. Also included to complete the costume for display are the following components sourced from a production costume house, but not from this specific film: a nylon hood painted silver to resemble chainmail with striped red banding and black leatherette detailing; a matching jacket with leatherette buckles; matching trousers with black rubber foot attachments and elastic suspenders; a pair of black leatherette gloves labelled "A" and "Robert Smythe"; a brown leatherette belt with red and yellow detailing; and a gold-colour cotton braid strand.

This lot exhibits a broken buckle on the jacket, notable loss of elasticity in the suspenders, minor tears in the gloves, and discolouration on the trousers.
