An automatic crossbow from Otto Bathurst’s 2018 adaptation of the Robin Hood story.

This crossbow and others like it were made for the production and carried by soldiers working for the evil Sheriff of Nottingham (Ben Mendelsohn). The crossbow is made predominantly of wood with leather wrapped around the limb. A handle on the right side can be pulled back, drawing the string back and ‘firing’. A magazine of bolts sits atop the crossbow and features additional bolts, although the crossbow does not actually fire them.

The crossbow has some wear from production use, including scuffing and scratches, but overall remains in excellent condition.
