A hand-painted concept illustration of the Nome King's (Nicol Williamson) mountain from the production of Walter Murch's Return to Oz. Dorothy Gale (Fairuza Balk), Tik-Tok (Sean Barrett), and Jack Pumpkinhead (Brian Henson) trekked to the Nome King's mountain, only to fall into the underground domain where he kept emeralds he purloined from Oz.

This unsigned concept illustration of Dorothy, Tik-Tok, and Jack in front of the Nome King is believed to have been rendered in mixed media on illustration board by storyboard artist Harley Jessup in pre-production. The board exhibits staining, most visibly on the reverse, and warping to its edges. Dimensions: 23.75" x 14.5" x 0.5" (60.5 cm x 37 cm x 1.5 cm)
