This original hand-painted production cel features Miss Bianca, the graceful and courageous heroine of Walt Disney's The Rescuers. Seen here in her signature lavender outfit and matching hat, Bianca's pose and wide-eyed expression perfectly captures her mix of curiosity and quiet determination.
Voiced by Eva Gabor, Bianca brought a sophistication and warmth that helped redefine the tone of Disney's animated heroines in the 1970s. Under the direction of veteran animators Milt Kahl and Ollie Johnston, she was drawn with particular attention to gesture and poise, reflecting her blend of refinement and bravery as a leading member of the Rescue Aid Society.
Produced during Disney's Xerox era, The Rescuers marked one of the studio's most successful transitions between classic and modern animation. Its use of rich painted backgrounds and textured linework created an atmospheric and painterly tone, while the character animation remained sharp and full of personality.
This cel features the official Walt Disney Productions seal and comes with the original studio certificate, confirming its authenticity as part of the official curated release programme. These cels were sold directly through Disney's theme parks prior to the opening of their dedicated studio stores, making them especially desirable among collectors.
A beautifully preserved image of Miss Bianca, full of grace, colour, and expressive character, an elegant example of Disney's artistry during one of its most charming transitional eras. Dimensions: 40.5 cm x 1.25 cm (20" x 16")
