A costume worn in the production of the post-apocalyptic action movie Reign Of Fire. Twenty years after the unleashing of dragons at a construction site in London, Quinn (Christian Bale), Creedy (Gerard Butler) and a group of survivors hold out in an abandoned castle. When a dragon torches their crops, it brings with it remnants of the US Army – and hope of ending the dragon scourge for good.
This costume was worn by Jefferson (David Garrick), one of the Archangels serving with Denton Van Zan (Matthew McConaughey), a team of suicidal soldiers who are known for free-falling through the air to bring down flying dragons. Jefferson ends up being dragon meat as the dragon tormenting the castle emerges through the clouds to eat him mid-air.

The costume is composed of a customised “wing suit” made from a camouflage flight suit which has had synthetic “wings” stitched at the sides and dyed blue (size medium-regular) and a custom-painted helmet with painted pin-up, ace of spades and storm cloud designs over a yellow stripe and the name “Jefferson” across the top of the visor (marked as size extra large). The costume is accompanied by bolas gun made of fibreglass, based on a Remington 870 shotgun with a folded stock and a cylindrical front end.

Well-used on the production, the weapon has some cracks in the fibreglass and the costume has been distressed for use. However, in spite of this wear, the costume remains in overall good condition.
