A model miniature of Starbug 1 from the sci-fi comedy television show Red Dwarf. The notoriously unreliable Starbug shuttles first appeared in Series III and were the crew's primary mode of transportation to different planets, although they were often crashed by the crew.

This resin model miniature is hand-painted green with additional detailing and intentional distress applied to make the craft look well used. The craft resembles an insect, with three bulbous sections, four landing legs and rocket thrusters on the rear. Decals reading "Starbug 1" are applied to the front and rear sections on each side of the ship, and "1" transfers are applied to the top of the ship's central compartment and on its fins.

Also included in the lot are two storyboard pages from the Series V episode "Terrorform", which detail the Starbug crashing and are hand-drawn and annotated in pencil. The model is missing a dorsal fin and one segment of its rear right foot, but otherwise has only minor wear from production use and age, including scuffing, scratches and two small areas of paint wear, most notably on the rear. Dimensions: 36 cm x 33 cm x 21 cm (14.25" x 13" x 8.25")
