This is one of the far more scarce formats for the Hitchcock collector. One sheet is more common, and the insert is limited. Two Style half sheets were produced for the film, and we find only one instance of either style selling in an auction in many years.

This paper-backed half sheet has had airbrush work to all the borders and backgrounds, with some touch-ups in the lower titling. There is only a small spot on Joan Fontaine's cheek airbrushed, otherwise, the images are clean.

Alfred Hitchcock made his American feature debut with this stylish adaptation of Daphne Du Maurier's Gothic novel, which stars Laurence Olivier as an aristocrat whose new wife (Joan Fontaine) feels haunted by the memory of her husband's previous spouse.
