Six bladesmithing knives of John Rambo's (Sylvester Stallone) bowie knife and an unfinished bolster from Peter MacDonald's Rambo III. In a deleted scene, Rambo built himself a new knife larger than any of those he wielded previously - an apt embodiment of the increasing scale and bombast of the Rambo films - while preparing to rescue his mentor, Col. Trautman (Richard Crenna), from Soviet forces at any cost.

This set originated as a gift from a producer on Rambo III to Hester Hargett, who produced a number of other Stallone films and wrote the included Letter of Authenticity for this. It consists of six metal knives showcasing the progression of creating Rambo's iconic bowie knife from the structure of the blade, tang, and finer details such as the forming of the blood groove. Included is an unfinished knife bolster based on the rough edges and uncentered tang hole. The knives exhibit extensive tarnishing. Dimensions: (largest) 17.5" x 3" x 0.5" (44.25 cm x 7.25 cm x 1.5 cm)

Additional Provenance: Letter of Authenticity from Hester Hargett.

Blades were dulled after production for them to be sold as collectibles.
