A limited edition fine art photographic print featuring an image of Freddie Mercury taken by photographer Johnny Dewe Mathews during a shoot in his studio in Primrose Hill in 1975. It was taken during Queen's first ever studio shoot and remained unseen for many years. This lot is part of the Rockarchive Collection.

This giclee print is from a limited edition of 100 and shows Mercury posing with his hand on his hip while standing on a ladder. It is printed on archival 310gsm cotton-based rag paper, hand-numbered "14/100," and signed by Dewe Mathews in pencil. Dimensions: 42 cm x 29.75 cm (16.5" x 11.75")

Additional provenance:

This lot comes from the Rockarchive Collection, founded by acclaimed music photographer Jill Furmanovsky in 1998. Rockarchive now comprises an impressive collection of over 1000 images by more than 100 photographers and graphic designers, allowing fans and collectors to purchase limited-edition prints featuring music's most established artists. This lot is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity co-signed by Jill Furmanovsky.
