A set of special effects MedPod panels from Ridley Scott’s 2012 sci-fi prequel Prometheus.

These panels formed part of the Prometheus lifeboat's 'Pauling' MedPod. After the impromptu caesarean section performed on Shaw, the MedPod was left alone with the alien 'Trilobite' creature seemingly dead inside. Shaw (Noomi Rapace) discovered later that it grew incredibly rapidly during her fight with the Engineer.

Made of wood with plexiglass panes, these MedPod components were designed to fold out to allow access, with attachment points at the sides and top. The MedPod's left-hand panel has been smashed out, with a gaping hole from where the creature escaped, a very good match for the panel seen on the MedPod on-screen during the film's finale, while the other panels show signs of bloodstains that were washed away by the art department on the production. Though featuring some wear, the panels remain in a good production-used condition.
