A table from Meredith Vickers’ (Charlize Theron) life pod in the production of the Ridley Scott prequel Prometheus. Led to a distant planet by ancient wall paintings, scientists Elizabeth Shaw (Noomi Rapace) and Charlie Holloway (Logan Marshall-Green) join a corporate-sponsored mission to discover the source of life on Earth. But in the ruins of an alien space craft, the human explorers soon find that all is not as it seems, and a great threat lurks in its deep holds.
This table was used as part of the life pod, an emergency life-sustaining pod that was filled with luxuriously decorated rooms and was used by mission director Meredith Vickers. The table can be seen when Vickers invites Shaw and Holloway to the life pod to discuss the mission near the beginning of the film and was used by Vickers as she spyed on David (Michael Fassbender). Constructed from MDF over a wooden frame, the round table has been finished in a clinical white, matching the minimal and tidy look that Vickers’ suite portrays. A layer of thick, transparent acrylic has been placed at the top of the table, with LED lights placed underneath. The table is round and features a cut out section at the front where a functional console panel capable of displaying video graphics has been fitted, played through an in-built SD card player.

Featuring some paint loss and wear from use including markings at the front, the table remains in very good condition.
