A light-up spacesuit helmet from Ridley Scott's sci-fi prequel Prometheus. The mechanics working in the USCSS Prometheus' hangar were wearing their helmeted spacesuits when they were attacked by the mutated Fifield (Sean Harris).

The critically-acclaimed science-fiction horror prequel to Scott's Alien franchise was the highest-grossing horror film of 2012 and remains the 11th highest-grossing horror film of all time. It was nominated for a number of awards, including the Academy Award® for Best Visual Effects.

This lot consists of a clear, globe-shaped acrylic helmet with switch-operated fans and lighting connected to wiring and batteries in the Weyland Corp-labelled neck and backpiece, fineprint warning decals, and black and red nylon harnessing. The inside is labelled "Mechanic 1 #2." The helmet, neck, and back pieces exhibit scuffing, and some of the adhesive has come loose around the neck and internetal electronics.
