A set of Engineer ampules from Ridley Scott's sci-fi prequel Prometheus. Engineers used ampules to store terraforming biochemicals, which were unstable at room temperature. Designed by raku pottery specialist Rob Sollis, this set is made of hard biscuit foam with resin skin. The lot consists of three different size ampules consisting of a lid and base, which can be separated, each with alien text vertically etched into its curving body and finished with metallic paint. All three are intentionally distressed to reflect their ancient heritage. They exhibit scuffing, scratching and notable chipping to the paint finish on the smallest ampule. Dimensions (largest): 31" x 11" x 11" (79 cm x 28 cm x 28 cm)
