From director Rob Reiner's fantasy epic is this beautiful British quad, which features artwork that is considered by some to be superior to the film's US one sheet. This example was professionally linen-backed without any restoration and was subsequently mounted to a piece of black foam core. It is in excellent condition, displaying only light wear on the upper left corner, and the grade reflects the foam mounting.

Based on the popular book by William Goldman and directed by Rob Reiner, "The Princess Bride" is a postmodern fairy-tale about a young farmhand named Westley (Cary Elwes) who sets out on a quest to rescue his one true love, Princess Buttercup (Robin Wright), from the foul Prince Humperdinck (Chris Sarandon). Largely considered one of the finest films of the 1980s, the book was a hot property in Hollywood before Paramount finally acquired it. It has since become a true cult classic, in no small part because of its outstanding all-star cast.
