A clapperboard from the production of Rob Reiner's fantasy-adventure comedy The Princess Bride. While it was only a moderate box-office success upon its release, the film has gone on to garner a cult following and is considered to be among the best films of the 1980s.

This wooden clapperboard features the film's title and the names of director Reiner and cinematographer Adrian Biddle hand-painted on the front. The slate number "113" is faded but present, and "2nd DEC 1986 INT NIGHT" is handwritten on tape along the bottom of the clapperboard. Various numbers and letters are handwritten in faded chalk on the reverse, but most of them are illegible. The clapperboard has general paint wear from production use and age. Dimensions: 8.25" x 10.25" x 0.75" (21 cm x 26 cm x 2 cm)
