A gold disc presented to Matt Fink to commemorate the sale of more than 500,000 copies of Prince's tenth studio album, Lovesexy. This lot comes from the personal collection of Matt Fink (known by his stage name Dr. Fink). The award displays a large gold-coloured disc and a "Gold Sales Award" labelled cassette. Underneath is a small printed copy of the album cover artwork, a metal plaque, and a holographic R.I.A.A (Recording Industry Association of America) certified sales award logo. The lot comes mounted under acrylic in a black frame with a metal hanging bracket on the reverse. The display's backing is loose down the left side, and the bottom of the frame is slightly damaged. This lot is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity co-signed by Dr Fink. Dimensions: 53.5 cm x 43.25 cm x 3 cm (21" x 17" x 1.25")

Additional Provenance: This lot comes from the personal collection of Grammy-Award-winning keyboardist and producer Matt Fink (known by his stage name Dr. Fink). Fink was a member of Prince's band from 1978 to 1991, notably playing as part of The Revolution, who also starred in the 1984 film Purple Rain.
