A Christmas card sent by Prince to Matt Fink. This lot comes from the personal collection of Matt Fink (known by his stage name Dr. Fink).

The card features the handwritten inscription "Do us all a favor. . . 'Don't judge a man until you know him' Merry Xmax Prince" in ink. Prince has autographed the card with his signature twice. The card is accompanied by its original envelope, which has "To Eraserhead" handwritten on its front. Eraserhead was a nickname Prince gave to Fink as his hairstyle reminded him of the character from David Lynch's 1977 horror film. This lot is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity co-signed by Dr Fink. Dimensions: 23.75 cm x 15.5 cm (9.25" x 6")

Additional Provenance: This lot comes from the personal collection of Grammy-Award-winning keyboardist and producer Matt Fink (known by his stage name Dr. Fink). Fink was a member of Prince's band from 1978 to 1991, notably playing as part of The Revolution, who also starred in the 1984 film Purple Rain.
