A Yamaha KX-88 Master MIDI keyboard used by Prince and Dr. Fink on several albums and live performances. This keyboard was used from the mid-1980s, on tour and in the studio during the recording of the albums Parade, Sign o' the Times, Lovesexy, Batman and Graffiti Bridge. This lot comes from the personal collection of Matt Fink (known by his stage name Dr. Fink).

This weighted Yamaha KX-88 features an 88-note keyboard and a variety of components, including two control wheels, four sliders and five momentary switch controls. Several small labels with handwritten notes are adhered to the top of the instrument. Power outlets, the serial number "1642" and a label reading "KX-88, Main Bot" are all located on its back. The keyboard exhibits general wear and grime from use, with signs of notable scuffing to the finish on the right side. This lot is accompanied by a printed still. This lot comes from the personal collection of Grammy-Award-winning keyboardist and producer Matt Fink (known by his stage name Dr. Fink). Fink was a member of Prince's band from 1978 to 1991, notably playing as part of The Revolution, who also starred in the 1984 film Purple Rain.
