This item is an advertisement picture for The Great Danton created for the production of Christopher Nolan's 2006 mind-bending magician film The Prestige. The giant picture was crafted to advertise The Great Danton’s revised act “The Real Transported Man,” though not seen in the final cut of the film. The picture is made of nylon and is encased in a dark brown wooden frame with a particle board backing. The picture reads: “The Great Danton, The Real Transported Man, 100 Shows Only” and features a picture of two men in shadow, identically dressed with orange colored lightning throughout the picture. The entire picture with frame measures 55.5” x 74.75” (141cm x 190cm;) the frame features several scratches due to production use and storage, however, this item remains in good condition.
