The River Ghost (Ram Runner) costume from Robert Rodriguez's 2011 sci-fi horror film, Predators. In the film, a group of human warriors are brought to an otherworldly planet where they are hunted by a vicious alien race known as Predators. Early in the film the River Ghost chases Edwin (Topher Grace) as Isabelle (Alice Braga) tries to shoot the beast with a sniper rifle. This is the only suit made for this monster, and was worn by creature actor Carey Jones.
This costume features a body suit made of foam latex, sculpted into a muscular, alien body. It has an insectoid look, very spiny and bony with wing like bones coming out of the back. There are wounds on the upper body, with red foam latex creating a bloody gunshot wound. The mask has no eyes, but there are small holes in the eye coverings so that Jones could see while in the suit. There is a set of teeth appliances that cover the mouth and look like thick gums. The feet are attached to the suit, and are made of dense rubber, molded over a pair of Aasics shoes, size US 13. There is a zipper up the back, and a zipper on each calf to allow access to the shoes.
There are some cracks in the foam latex due to stretching during production use, and the costume shows wear due to age, but this Classic Predator costume is in overall good condition.
