On Sunday, May 29th 2011, the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, Austin, Texas, undertook a mammoth screening, "Day of the Apes. It was a 35mm marathon of the five original Planet of the Apes films. For each of the five films, a different artist was commissioned, and it is great to see the differing interpretations and diverse artistic styles employed. Attendees of all five showings were given the opportunity to purchase a unique set of six posters. On offer here is a complete set of six hand-numbered prints that comprise "Planet of the Apes" by Martin Ansin (#39/415); "Beneath the Planet of the Apes" by Ken Taylor (#39/395); "Escape From the Planet of the Apes" by Rich Kelly (#39/320); "Conquest for the Planet of the Apes" by Phantom City Creative (Signed Artist Proof); "Battle for the Planet of the Apes" by Florian Bertmer (#39/345); and "Go Ape" by Jason Edmiston (#39/295). A rare opportunity to obtain a complete set.

Condition: Excellent

All prints are presented rolled, flat and unfolded. The five 'film' titles are screen printed on a heavy stock paper and present to excellent effect with the minimal of handling wear. The "Go Ape" poster is offset and printed on a semi-gloss lighter weight paper (similar to the type of paper used on a regular movie poster).
