Zira's (Kim Hunter) facial appliance from Franklin J. Schaffner's sci-fi film Planet of the Apes. Doctor Zira was an animal psychologist who helped George Taylor (Charlton Heston) and Nova (Linda Harrison) escape.

This lot consists of a foam latex facial appliance for the brow, nose, cheeks, and chin, painted brown with yellow teeth, with a white vacuum-formed plastic lifecast labeled "New Kim." The appliance exhibits dried and cracked edges, and has come loose from the lifecast. Dimensions: 7" x 11" x 5.5" (18 cm x 28 cm x 14 cm)
