A replica of a gorilla head from Franklin J. Schaffner's Planet of the Apes. After landing on a futuristic version of Earth, astronaut George Taylor (Charlton Heston) encountered groups of super intelligent apes, including gorillas who served as soldiers.

This detailed replica of a gorilla costume head based on the production originals originated from Precision Effects. It comes attached to a wooden dowel and exhibits flaked paint, cracks, discoloration, and frayed fibers from exposure. Dimensions: 20" x 7.5" x 10.5" (51 cm x 19 cm x 26.75 cm)
