Will Turner's (Orlando Bloom) screen-matched and bloodied special effects cursed Aztec medallion necklace from Gore Verbinski's Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. Young Elizabeth Swann (Lucinda Dryzek) stole young Will Turner's (Dylan Smith) necklace, resulting years later in their both being hunted by Captain Hector Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush) and the crew of the Black Pearl to help release them from the ancient Aztec curse placed upon its gold medallion.

Based on a real-world Aztec finial, this gold-plated medallion is cast on both sides with a skull-and-sun motif. Distinctive nicking around the top of the skull pattern on one side screen-match to close-ups when Swann revealed to Turner that it was she who saved him from the sea and kept the necklace. Additionally, the remnants of stage blood in crevices and nooks that align to the opposite side of the coin matches to the spinning, closeup shot of both sides after Barbossa cut Swann's palm. A distinctive reflective element inlaid between the left jaw and the bone of the under-chin inset can also be clearly seen in the close-up shot as it slowly tumbles to the chest of Aztec coins.

This medallion also features countersunk holes around its edges created for special effects inserts requiring the use of mounting rods. The rods allowed a controlled spin of the coin as it dropped into the pile of Aztec gold. The chain is made from bone-shaped brass links with a hook closure painted gold-colour. In addition to the stage blood, the necklace is intentionally distressed by production to appear ancient. Dimensions: 43.25 cm x 5.75 cm x 0.75 cm (17" x 2.25" x 0.25")
