This is the dress given to Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley) by Captain Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush) while she was captive aboard the Black Pearl in Gore Verbinski's 2003 swashbuckling adventure, The Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl!
The costume is made from purple silk with black lace insets and intricate gold stitching. The sleeves are made of an off white linen and lace and protrude from the silk just past the elbow. The shoulders have also been pleated. Attached to the bodice, which closes in front with a simple set of hooks and eyes, is a black full length skirt.
Also included is a creme colored underskirt with a floral print. Inside the skirt, stitched to the waist is a label that reads "Keira Knightley." The shoes follow the gown color scheme, being black with purple lining, and decorated with golden painted buckles.
There is currently no sizing information available, but the costume is in excellent production made condition!
