Elizabeth Swann's (Keira Knightley) nightshift from Gore Verbinski's Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. Elizabeth wore her nightshift after an eventful day of being proposed to and then later being rescued from drowning. As a result of having fallen into the ocean, the pirate medallion she took from Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) as a child summoned the cursed Black Pearl crew to Port Royal where they raided the town and eventually took Elizabeth hostage to meet Captain Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush).

With the massive success of Curse of the Black Pearl, Pirates of the Caribbean became among the most profitable franchises in world history and the first ever to feature two or more films with billion-dollar-plus box office grosses. Across five films, and with a sixth in development in 2026, the franchise has revolutionized visual effects, become a staple of Halloween costumes and popular culture, and earned 11 Academy Award® nominations, including five for Curse of the Black Pearl. Today, Swann is Knightley's most globally-recognized role.

Custom-made by Jane Law for Knightley, this nightshift is made of embroidered cotton with lace trim. It features a hand-marked label for "Keira Knightly [sic]" on the interior. This lot exhibits yellow discoloration due to age.
