A Dead Man's Chest production model from Gore Verbinski's Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) focused on the fabled "Dead Man's Chest" as a means of escaping his debt from Davy Jones (Bill Nighy) after learning it held Jones' still-beating heart. Disgraced James Norrington (Jack Davenport) stole the heart and presented it to Cutler Beckett (Tom Hollander), who used it to control Jones and the seas.

This lot consists of an original model featuring over 300 hand-made pieces of foam and urethane details. It consists of a separate top and bottom. The lock mechanism was created and cast separately from this unpainted chest. It exhibits a crack in the middle and the bottom, and has adhesive residue. Dimensions: 15.25" x 9" x 10.5" (38.75 cm x 23 cm x 26.75 cm)
