Pirates! In An Adventure With Scientists! The,

QV1 Pair of Dining Room Side Tables

Stock #40853

Prop Store is proud to present an exclusive offering of ‘The Pirates! In An Adventure With Scientists’ stop motion puppets, props and set pieces from Aardman and Sony Pictures Animation.

These practical pieces of furniture were used to dress the luxurious dining room aboard Queen Victoria’s flagship, the QV1, the location of her sinister dinner whose menu consists of exotic and endangered animals, including Polly! The table is made from a combination of wood and cast resin, all of which has been sprayed a glistening gold apart from the table top which has been decorated to look like marble. The legs are adorned with oriental-inspired fish. Each table measures 39cm x 14.5cm x 11.5cm (15 3/8” x 5 6/8” x 4.5”), with both pieces remaining in great condition with adhesive present from where it was secured to the set.

Please note: Customers completing a purchase for this artefact, hereby agree that it will not be replicated or used in any other film or television production. These items should be carefully handled and treated with a degree of respect to ensure a long lasting life after their retirement from plundering the high seas!

In The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists, Hugh Grant stars in his first animated role as the luxuriantly bearded Pirate Captain – a boundlessly enthusiastic, if somewhat less-than-successful, terror of the High Seas. With a rag-tag crew at his side and seemingly blind to the impossible odds stacked against him, the Captain has one dream: to beat his bitter to the much coveted Pirate Of The Year Award. It's a quest that takes our heroes from the shores of exotic Blood Island to the foggy streets of Victorian London. Along the way they do battle with the pirate-hating Queen Victoria and team up with a young Charles Darwin, but never lose sight of what a pirate loves best: adventure!
