Prop Store is proud to present an exclusive offering of ‘The Pirates! In An Adventure With Scientists’ stop motion puppets, props and set pieces from Aardman and Sony Pictures Animation.

This set of artillery equipment can be seen aboard the Pirate Captain’s rather shabby-looking ship as he and his crew sail into London Town! Present here are a crate of cannon balls, cannon loading equipment and a small gunpowder barrel. The cannon ramrod consists of a wooden rod with a foam pad and the gunpowder barrel is resin that has been decorated to look like wood. There is a small amount of glue on end of the ramrod and also on the side of the gunpowder barrel that would have been applied to ensure stability during filming. The pad on the ramrod is slightly loose from the rod but this collection otherwise remains in very good production used condition. The ramrod is the largest component and measures approximately 32cm (12.5”) in length.
