Prop Store is proud to present an exclusive offering of ‘The Pirates! In An Adventure With Scientists’ stop motion puppets, props and set pieces from Aardman and Sony Pictures Animation.

A pair of paintings from Buckingham Palace, used for the scenes in which Queen Victoria (Imelda Staunton) makes plans for an exotic animal dining cruise in between expressing her distaste for pirates! Similar paintings can also be seen during the final credits sequence. The paintings feature a resin frame with the interior paintings, showing snakes in a sandwich with the hilarious caption “Snakes On A Plate” and a hunting dog with a dead red panda in its mouth, printed on card and mounted on white sheet plastic. The frame is finished in faux-gold, with the “portrait” distressed to look old and worn within the frame. The pieces remain in very good condition with minimal additional wear from use and time spent in storage.

With a rag-tag crew at his side and seemingly blind to the impossible odds stacked against him, the Captain has one dream: to beat his bitter to the much coveted Pirate Of The Year Award. It's a quest that takes our heroes from the shores of exotic Blood Island to the foggy streets of Victorian London. Along the way they do battle with the pirate-hating Queen Victoria and team up with a young Charles Darwin, but never lose sight of what a pirate loves best: adventure!
