Matt Boyd's (Richard Dreyfuss) screen-matched fishing rod from Alexandre Aja's Piranha 3D. Distinctive patterning in the cork handle of this rod screen-matches to the opening sequence, where Boyd fished in Lake Victoria before an earthquake split the lake floor and unleashed a school of murderous prehistoric piranha. Dreyfuss' casting as Boyd harkened directly back to his role as oceanographer Matt Hooper in Steven Spielberg's fish-based creature feature Jaws.

This deep blue Daiwa rod features metal and plastic detailing along its length along with two cork grips. It exhibits some splitting in the cork and minor tarnishing from production use and age. Dimensions: 78" x 5.5" x 5" (198.25 cm x 14 cm x 12.75 cm)
