A gold disc award presented to David Gilmour to commemorate more than 500,000 copies of Pink Floyd's tenth studio album, Animals, released in January 1977. The large gold-coloured disc comes mounted under glass in a painted gold-coloured wooden frame. Below the disc is a metal plaque which states that it is a certified R.I.A.A (Recording Industry Association of America) sales award and features a printed image of the album cover. There is some minor wear to the paint finish on the frame. Dimensions: 53.25 cm x 43 cm x 3.25 cm (21" x 17" x 1.25")
