A framed limited-edition hand-painted cel released by The Walt Disney Company in the 1990s for the animated classic Peter Pan (1953). This artwork shows Peter Pan and Captain Hook duelling inside Skull Rock, where Tiger Lily was held captive. To achieve the limited edition cels, Disney artists hand-inked the original animation drawings and transferred them onto an acetate cel. The colours were then hand-painted using approved acrylic-based paints. The printed background was also recreated using the original paintings, sketches and frames as reference. This example was one of 500 editions created, with this example being numbered "333/500" and bearing a Walt Disney Company seal in the lower right corner. It comes mounted within a metal frame with plexiglass and features a hanging wire on the reverse.
