A Yul puppet made for John Lee's comedy Pee-wee's Big Holiday. In the opening of this return to the classic comedy franchise, Pee-wee (Paul Reubens) is seen sitting with an alien named Yul. This scene shows the two exchange emotional goodbyes as they refer their adventures together and Pee-wee gives Yul a friendship bracelet.
Made from a soft foam latex, this puppet is painted with detail. A set of cables is present at the back up the puppet. These control the puppet's facial features, hands, and mouth as seen in the film.The face is finished with a set of large acrylic eyes.
Additionally, a set of insert arms are included with the piece. The hands on these arms are positioned in a pinching position for the scene in which Yul ties Pee-wee's bracelet around his wrist.
This piece shows some signs of wear from storage, such as light marking to the latex, but remains in overall excellent condition.
