Bio-Lab Hard Drive Tower

A hard drive storage tower used in the 2009 sci-fi thriller Pandorum. This technical looking tower was used in the bio-lab scenes when Bower, Nadia and Manh find refuge from the terrifying hunters, and Nadia places a single hard drive from her bag into the top slot, and also in a flashback scene when Nadia is remembering her duties when the ship first set out. The tower itself is simplistic and made from wood which was cunningly hidden behind the futuristic set, and has four hard drive docks, one on top of the other. Each dock features a strip of red which was originally intended to light up, however only the top one was eventually wired in. The black hard drive box, which measures 20 x 14cm (8" x 5.5") was rigged up to light up when slotted into place, but the effect never made it to the final cut (please note the electronics have not been tested). The tower measures 44cm tall, 24cm wide and 22cm deep (17.25" x 9.5" x 8.5") and is in excellent condition but for a chip on the left side of the tower.
