A PPDC (Pan Pacific Defense Corps) Strike Trooper Uniform from Guillermo Del Toro’s 2013 mega monster movie Pacific Rim. In the film, a race of monsters, called ‘Kaiju,’ terrorizes earth, forcing mankind to build a team of massive robots, called ‘Jaegers,’ to battle the monsters and save the world. The Strike Troopers served as ground support in the Kaiju War and can be seen providing the Jaegers with tank support and ground fire throughout the film.
The costume consists of a thick, grey jacket (size medium) with a rubber patch on the arm bearing the PPDC logo and the words “Pan Pacific Defense Corps,” and a PPDC patch on the chest. Also included are grey pants, black suspenders, black gloves, a black long-sleeve shirt (size extra large), black thermal hood, and black military boots (10). The costume features articles of various sizes. All pieces remain in good condition.
