Hannibal Chau’s Thug’s (Jung-Yul Kim) Costume from Guillermo Del Toro’s 2013 mega monster movie Pacific Rim. In the film, a race of monsters, called ‘Kaiju,’ terrorizes earth, forcing mankind to build a team of massive robots, called ‘Jaegers,’ to battle the monsters and save the world. Hannibal Chau (Ron Perlman) profits on dead Kaiju monsters, and keeps enforcers and thugs like Kim close.

This costume includes a button down shirt, dress pants, socks, shoes, belt, and tie. The shirt is dark red fabric. Initials on the inside left sleeve read “I.D.”, possibly a note for the production staff. The shoes are faux leather with a stitched design and are slightly distressed from use. The belt features a gold buckle made by production to resemble a gilded Kaiju bone. The coat is a duster style black leather jacket only lightly distressed from use. The dark red tie is wide and features a stitched design. The costume components all remain in good condition.
