Hannibal Chau’s (Ron Perlman) Ring from Guillermo Del Toro’s 2013 mega monster movie Pacific Rim. In the film, a race of monsters, called ‘Kaiju,’ terrorize earth, so humans build a team of massive robots, called ‘Jaegers,’ to battle the monsters and save the world. Hannibal Chau (Ron Perlman) runs an operation that dissects dead Kaiju and harvests their organs to sell on the black market. He wears this ring on the middle finger of his right hand throughout the film.

The ring is made of brass, and was hand crafted for the production. It features a representation of the Category V Kaiju called Slattern. The Slattern face has been molded into the brass to serve as the head of the ring. The brass band features small dents as evidence of where it was pounded into shape. Some green discoloring can be seen on the underside of the Slattern head due to oxidization. This ring shows minor wear due to production use and storage but remains in excellent condition. This piece measures 1” x 1” x 1” (3 cm x 3 cm x 3 cm).
