A Gipsy Danger Ground Crew (Diane Szeto) Costume from Guillermo Del Toro’s 2013 mega monster movie Pacific Rim. In the film, a race of monsters, called ‘Kaiju,’ terrorizes earth, forcing mankind to build a team of massive robots, called ‘Jaegers,’ to battle the monsters and save the world. This costume was worn by a member of the Gipsy Danger Jaeger’s team.

The costume includes many components customized for the production. The jacket is a blue weather proof material that features the Gipsy logo on the front and back. A PPDC (Pan Pacific Defense Corps) patch is affixed to the right shoulder. Under the jacket, a purplish-grey shirt in worn, On top of that, a dark blue jumpsuit (size 70/40). A pair of size 7½ work boots, brown work gloves, and a blue baseball cap complete the look. These pieces show some production distress but remain in good condition.
