A Crimson Typhoon Ground Crew (Amanda Yuen) Costume from Guillermo Del Toro’s 2013 mega monster movie Pacific Rim. In the film, a race of monsters, called ‘Kaiju,’ terrorizes earth, forcing mankind to build a team of massive robots, called ‘Jaegers,’ to battle the monsters and save the world. This costume was worn a member of the Chinese Jaeger’s team.

The costume includes many components customized for the production. The jacket is a red weather proof material that features the Crimson Typhoon logo on the back. A PPDC (Pan Pacific Defense Corps) patch is affixed to the right shoulder. The grey tank top(size medium), grey/red shirt, and orange jumpsuit (size small) are worn under the jacket. The jumpsuit is labeled “Amanda Typhoon”. A pair of black boots (size 3.5), work belt, PPDC ID card and red baseball cap complete the costume. All pieces feature light wear from production but remain in good condition.
